In 1978-1998, danced with the Bolshoi ballet company working her way up from a corps-de-ballet performer to a lead dancer.

In 1999, joined the Bolshoi Ballet Academy faculty and has been teaching Folk Dance Arranged for Stage Performance ever since.

In 2013, received a Ph.D. degree (pedagogics).
